Silver medal! Reached second place in Playoff A
BENCONT Dolný Kubín was the only club from Slovakia that had teams playing during Malmo Open 2018. They participated with one team in Senior Team.
In addition to BENCONT Dolný Kubín, 7 other teams from 5 different countries played in Senior Team. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof BENCONT Dolný Kubín could be found in Group A together with Weserstars e.V. and Vålerengen Våalerengen 1. BENCONT Dolný Kubín made it to Playoff A after reaching 1:st place in Group A. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Para ice hockey club "Fenix", Russia, Moscow Region with 1-8. Thereby BENCONT Dolný Kubín finished second in Senior Playoff A during Malmo Open 2018.
