Roskilde Håndbold was one of 28 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Lundaspelen 2009. They participated with 14 teams in 9 out of Lundaspelens all 19 categories. Three teams played until Final in Playoff A; Boys 10 won over TMS Ringsted by 8-4, Boys 12 1 won over TMS Ringsted by 11-8 and Girls 10 lost against FIF by 2-3.

In addition to this, Roskilde Håndbold have participated in Lundaspelen before. During Lundaspelen 2008, Roskilde had one team playing in Girls 16. The team in Girls 16 made it to the the in Playoff Aand won it over LUGI 1 by 12-10.

Roskilde comes from Roskilde which lies approximately 70 km from Lund, where Lundaspelen takes place. The area around Roskilde does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Lundaspelen 2009 (Among others: Greve Håndbold, Lyngby HK, Farum HF, VSH 2002 , Hillerød HK, Amager SK, AG Håndbold, TMS Ringsted, Vhc-Vidar and Team København).
