TMS Ringsted was one of 28 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Lundaspelen 2009. They participated with 14 teams in 11 out of Lundaspelens all 19 categories. Four teams played until Final in Playoff A; Girls 15 won over Mörrums HK by 16-14, Boys 9 lost against Kävlinge HK 2 by 4-10, Boys 10 lost against Roskilde by 4-8 and Boys 12 lost against Roskilde 1 by 8-11.

In addition to this, TMS Ringsted have participated in Lundaspelen before. During Lundaspelen 2008, Ringsted had 12 teams playing in 8 out of Lundaspelens all 19 categories. Two teams played until in Playoff A; Boys 16 1 lost against HIK Hellerup by 15-16 and Girls 14 1 lost against Hilleröd 1 by 9-12.

Ringsted comes from Ringsted which lies approximately 100 km from Lund, where Lundaspelen takes place. The area around Ringsted does also provide four additional clubs participating during Lundaspelen 2009 (Løve Høng, HSG91 , HVI Himmelev and Roskilde Håndbold).
