In addition to Malmö FF, 35 other teams played in Pojkar 12/13 - födda -05 el. senare. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Malmö FF could be found in Group A together with Vellinge IF 2 1111, Kulladals FF Vit and Hässleholms IF Vit.

Malmö FF made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group A. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against FC Bellevue 2 with 0-2. Thereby Malmö FF finished second in P12/13 Slutspel A during Skånecupen 2017.
