In addition to Malmö FF, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 15- födda -02 el. senare. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Malmö FF could be found in Group B together with Husie IF, Ramlösa Södra IF lag 1, Kvarnby IK Kompis 15 and Lunds BK 2.
Malmö FF made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group B. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Lunds BK 1, which they won with 5-3. Thereby Malmö FF won the entire Slutspel A in Pojkar 15- födda -02 el. senare during Skånecupen 2017. Malmö FF also participated in Pojkar 14 - födda -02 el. senare during Skånecupen 2016.
