In addition to Södra Sandby IF, 17 other teams played in Pojkar 16 - födda -01 el. senare. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Södra Sandby IF could be found in Group A together with Trelleborgs FF 2, BK Flagg Blå and Malmö FF.
Södra Sandby IF made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Gif Nike, which they won with 2-0. Thereby Södra Sandby IF won the entire Slutspel B in Pojkar 16 - födda -01 el. senare during Skånecupen 2017. Södra Sandby IF also participated in Pojkar 15- födda -01 el. senare during Skånecupen 2016.
