Vadstena GIF was one of 153 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Forwardcupen 2019. The team in Pojkar 15 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel D, but lost it against Vinninga AIF by 0-3.
In addition to this, Vadstena GIF have participated in Forwardcupen before. During Forwardcupen 2018, Vadstena GIF had three teams playing in Pojkar 10, Pojkar 13 and Pojkar 16/17 respectively. The team in Pojkar 16/17 made it to the the Final in Slutspel C, but lost it against Ärla/Stenkvista by 0-3.
