Färnäs SK continued to Slutspel D after reaching 4:th place in Grupp 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Åsunda IF/IK Nordia with 0-1. In the Final, Kvarnsvedens IK Blå won over Åby IF and became the winner of Slutspel D in Flickor 15-16.

Färnäs SK comes from Färnäs which lies approximately 190 km from Örebro, where Forwardcupen takes place. The area around Färnäs does also provide three additional clubs participating during Forwardcupen 2019 (Vikarby Ik, Ifk Rättvik fotboll and Sollerö IF).
