Epping City was one of 115 clubs from Australia that had teams playing during AFS Shepparton Cup 2018. They participated with one team in U9 Boys COPA (Born in 2009) 7v7.

In addition to Epping City, 15 other teams played in U9 Boys COPA (Born in 2009) 7v7. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Epping City could be found in Group A together with FTS Red, FC Bulleen Lions Green and St albans Dinamo.

Epping City continued to Plate Finals after reaching 4:th place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Dandenong City with 4-5. In the Final, FTS Red won over Bundoora United Kangas and became the winner of Plate Finals in U9 Boys COPA (Born in 2009) 7v7.

Epping City comes from Epping which lies approximately 150 km from Shepparton, where AFS Shepparton Cup takes place. The area around Epping does also provide 61 additional clubs participating during AFS Shepparton Cup 2018 (Among others: Brighton, Balmoral, FTS, Beaumaris Galaxy, Sydenham Park, NMA, Ringwood City, Manningham united, South Melbourne FC and Strathmore).
