Götene IF was one of 144 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Pojkar 13.

In addition to Götene IF, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 13. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Götene IF could be found in Group 10 together with BK Kenty, Igelstorps IK and Landvetter IS 1.

Götene IF continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Falkenbergs FF 2 with 0-1. In the Final, FC Real Internacional won over Saleby/Trässberg/Norra Härene and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 13.

Götene comes from Götene which lies approximately 25 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
