Vassunda IF was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Damer Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003).

In addition to Vassunda IF, 16 other teams played in Damer Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Vassunda IF could be found in Group 1 together with Åhus Handboll 1, Kävlinge HK, Kristianstad HK Svart, Växjö HF 2, IFK Kristianstad 2, Staffanstorps HK and Spånga HK.

Vassunda IF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Borlänge HK with 8-13. In the Final, Staffanstorps HK won over IFK Kristianstad 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Damer Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003).

Vassunda comes from Knivsta which lies approximately 470 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Knivsta does also provide six additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022 (Obmir kh, Uppsala HK, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Täby HBK, HF Rimbo and Stockholms Brons).
