HK Champinjonerna was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to HK Champinjonerna, 28 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof HK Champinjonerna could be found in Group 3 together with Lag Rosens pågar, Nu Ager Vi, Svampbob Trekant and Gifflarna. HK Champinjonerna continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Moderaterna Kristianstad with 8-10. In the Final, Lag Labbes pågar won over IFK Tylö and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Champinjonerna comes from KALMAR which lies approximately 150 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
