Sopis was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

In addition to Sopis, 39 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Sopis could be found in Group 6 together with Kamraterna Gott & Blandat, Dunderdrängarna, Beat the Crew and BATMAN.

Sopis continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Jelzin United with 8-11. In the Final, Eslövs Gubbarna won over S.U.F and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar.

Sopis comes from Lund which lies approximately 76 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Staffanstorps HK, Guldkustens HK, HK Micro, HK Björnen, Byfånarna, Mammas pojkar, Bäst före detta, Powerheat Radio, Södra Rörum and Eslövs IK).
