Kolstad Fotball was one of 529 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Norway Cup 2016. They participated with one team in B - Gutter 11-er, 15/16 år.

In addition to Kolstad Fotball, 221 other teams from 10 different countries played in B - Gutter 11-er, 15/16 år. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Kolstad Fotball could be found in Group 30 together with Giv Akt, IL /Spangereid, Nest-Sotra Fotball 1 and Sagene IF.

Kolstad Fotball continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Skodje IL with 1-2. In the Final, Osterøy IL FOTLANDS… won over Vigør, FK and became the winner of Playoff B in B - Gutter 11-er, 15/16 år.

Kolstad Fotball comes from Saupstad which lies approximately 390 km from Oslo, where Norway Cup takes place. The area around Saupstad does also provide 27 additional clubs participating during Norway Cup 2016 (Among others: Nardo FK, Stadsbygd IL, Malvik IL, Melhus IL, Trygg/Lade, SK, Byneset IL, Klæbu IL, Trønder-Lyn IL, Trondheims-Ørn, SK and Fram, IL).
