Drangedal IL was one of 529 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Norway Cup 2016. They participated with one team in W - Jenter 7-er, 17/18/19 år.

In addition to Drangedal IL, 20 other teams played in W - Jenter 7-er, 17/18/19 år. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Drangedal IL could be found in Group 4 together with Nordstrand IF, Skjold IL and Trygg/Lade, SK.

Drangedal IL continued to Playoff B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Alvdal IL with 0-3. In the Final, Emblem IL won over Klæbu IL and became the winner of Playoff B in W - Jenter 7-er, 17/18/19 år.

Drangedal comes from Drangedal which lies approximately 130 km from Oslo, where Norway Cup takes place. The area around Drangedal does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Norway Cup 2016 (Among others: Sannidal IL, Odds BK, Kragerø IF Fotball, Herkules Fotball, Stathelle og Omegn IL, Kjapp IL, Sundjordet IF, Kroken IL, Skade, IL and Storm BK).
