Sokndal IK made it to Playoff B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Blindheim IL with 1-3. Thereby Sokndal IK finished second in E Playoff B during Norway Cup 2016.
