In addition to Åmot IF, 5 other teams played in Stjerneklassen 7-er A. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Åmot IF could be found in Group 2 together with Parasport Danmark 1 and Bøn.

Åmot IF continued to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Strømsgodset IF with 0-2. In the Final, HSV Fotball won over Parasport Danmark 1 and became the winner of Playoff A in Stjerneklassen 7-er A.

Åmot IF also participated in Z - A during Norway Cup 2017. They won Playoff B, after beating Lillestrøm in the final with 4-2.
