In addition to Vear IF, 8 other teams played in Stjerneklassen 7-er B. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Vear IF could be found in Group 2 together with Strømsgodset IF SIF 2, Lillehammer Fotballklubb, Parasport Danmark 2 and FC Glesborg.

Vear IF made it to Playoff A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FC Glesborg, which they won with 2-1. Thereby Vear IF won the entire Playoff A in Stjerneklassen 7-er B during Norway Cup 2018.
