Vestbyen IL was one of 457 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Norway Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16 - born 2003 - 11 aside.

In addition to Vestbyen IL, 117 other teams from 6 different countries played in Boys 16 - born 2003 - 11 aside. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Vestbyen IL could be found in Group 29 together with Tertnes Fotball Herrer, Haugar, SK and Tromsø IL.

Vestbyen IL continued to Playoff B after reaching 4:th place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Korsvoll IL with 4-6. In the Final, Korsvoll IL won over Mosjøen IL 1 and became the winner of Playoff B in Boys 16 - born 2003 - 11 aside.

Vestbyen IL also participated in Boys 15 - born 2003- 11 aside during Norway Cup 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Playoff B, but lost it against Skrim, IL Skrim with 1-3.

Vestbyen comes from Trondheim which lies approximately 390 km from Oslo, where Norway Cup takes place. The area around Trondheim does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Norway Cup 2019 (Among others: Sverresborg Fotball, Melhus IL, Sjetne IL, Trond, IL, Ranheim IL - Fotball Topp, Charlottenlund Sportsklubb, Flatås Idrettslag, Nidelv IL, Byåsen IL and Tiller IL).
