Hammarby IF FF was one of 246 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 13.

In addition to Hammarby IF FF, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 13. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Hammarby IF FF could be found in Group 2 together with Harlösa IF , Tyringe IF 1, Asarums IF FK , Åhus Horna BK 3, IFK Hässleholm , Åhus Horna BK 2, Veberöds AIF 2, Gärds Köpinge IF and Trollenäs IF .

Hammarby IF FF made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Åhus Horna BK 3 with 2-3. Thereby Hammarby IF FF finished second in P13 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017.

Hammarby comes from Sköndal which lies approximately 430 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Sköndal does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017 (Among others: Tungelsta IF, Nisses Grabbar, Danderyds SK, Brommapojkarna DFF, Ekerö IK, Örby IS, Fat Hobbits FC, Ängby IF, Viggbyholms IK FF and Reymersholms IK).
