Fat Hobbits FC was one of 225 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018. They participated with one team in Herr Aktiv.

In addition to Fat Hobbits FC, 27 other teams played in Herr Aktiv. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Fat Hobbits FC could be found in Group 2 together with Toivonens lärjungar , Compagnia svedese di gallerie , Zoégas är Fränt , Vet inte , FC Snesurr and Pokerclub Hawaii .

Fat Hobbits FC continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hawaiibeachboys with 0-3. In the Final, Questions won over Tre pils and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herr Aktiv.

Fat Hobbits FC also participated in Herr Aktiv during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2017. They reached the final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Beach FF with 0-1 and ended up in second place.

Fat Hobbits FC comes from NACKA which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around NACKA does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2018 (Among others: ÅKERSBERGA, Tungelsta IF, Huddinge IF, All stars, Beach FF, FC ÖL, Ekerö IK, Bafana Banana BoIS, IF Brommapojkarna and Örby IS).
