IBK Lidköping was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 99.

In addition to IBK Lidköping, 15 other teams played in Pojkar 99. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IBK Lidköping could be found in Group A together with Floda IBK, IBF Norrköping and Rydboholms SK.

IBK Lidköping continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Lindås Waves IBK 2 with 3-4. In the Final, Lindås Waves IBK 2 won over Öjaby Sport and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 99.

IBK Lidköping also participated in Pojkar 99 during Warbergsspelen 2015. They reached the Semi final in P99 Slutspel A, but lost it against Tvååkers IBK with 1-4.

IBK Lidköping comes from Lidköping which lies approximately 160 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. Other than IBK Lidköping, the club Skara IBK does also originate from the area around Lidköping.
