Växjö IBK Vipers was one of 109 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 02.

In addition to Växjö IBK Vipers, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 02. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Växjö IBK Vipers could be found in Group A together with Warberg IBF 1, IBF Tranås, SST NET Landskrona IBK and Billingsfors IBK.

Växjö IBK Vipers continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Sandö IBK with 4-5. In the Final, Lindås IBK won over Sandö IBK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 02.

Växjö IBK Vipers also participated in Pojkar 02 during Warbergsspelen 2016. They won Slutspel A, after beating Varla IBK in the final with 6-5.

Växjö IBK Vipers comes from VÄXJÖ which lies approximately 150 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around VÄXJÖ does also provide six additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2017 (Växjö IBK, Öjaby Sport, Växjö Vipers, Gransholms IF, IBK Vöikers and Hovshaga AIF).
