In addition to Göteborg, 19 other teams played in Pojkar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Göteborg could be found in Group C together with Bohuslän-Dal and Norrbotten.
Göteborg made it to Main Round A after reaching 1:st place in Group C. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Skåne Gul with 18-21. Thereby Göteborg finished second in Pojkar Main Round A during SverigeCupen 2016.
