Västerås IK was one of 14 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Nordic Invitational Cup 2018. They participated with one team in G14 - Girls born 2004.
In addition to Västerås IK, 15 other teams played in G14 - Girls born 2004. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Västerås IK could be found in Group C together with Saltsjö-Boo IF, Hanvikens SK and HyPS. Västerås IK continued to Playoffs A after reaching 2:nd place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 0-2. In the Final, Nacka FC won over Tyresö FF and became the winner of Playoffs A in G14 - Girls born 2004. Västerås comes from Västerås which lies approximately 100 km from Tyresö, where Nordic Invitational Cup takes place.
