In addition to IK Sturehov, 10 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IK Sturehov could be found in Group B together with Svärtinge SK, Örsundsbro IF, Oxelösunds IK and Nora BK.

IK Sturehov made it to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group B. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against IFK Lindesberg with 0-3. Thereby IK Sturehov finished second in P16-17 Slutspel B during Forwardcupen 2022.
