F01 Göteborg was one of 36 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Selected Player Cup Karlstad 2017. They participated with one team in F01.

In addition to F01 Göteborg, 8 other teams played in F01. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof F01 Göteborg could be found in Group B together with F01 Stockholm Syd, F01 Finland Blue and F01 Uppland.

F01 Göteborg made it to Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group B. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against F01 Uppland with 3-4. Thereby F01 Göteborg finished second in F01 Slutspel during Selected Player Cup Karlstad 2017.
