Ale IBF was one of 141 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Linköping Floorball Games 2018. They participated with 6 teams in Pojkar Röd D (f.2004-2005), Pojkar Röd C (f.2003-2004), Pojkar Röd A (f.2001-2002), Flickor Röd C (f.2004-2005) and Flickor Röd A (f.2001-2003) respectively. The team in Flickor Röd A (f.2001-2003) made it to the the Final in Slutspel Band won it over Nynäshamns IBK by 4-2.

Ale IBF comes from Nödinge which lies approximately 220 km from Linköping, where Linköping Floorball Games takes place. The area around Nödinge does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Linköping Floorball Games 2018 (Pixbo Walllenstam P04 Röd, Marstrands IBK, Frölunda IBK, Stenungsunds IBK, Myggenäs/Stenungsund IBK, Eken IBK, Landvetter Wings, FBC Lerum and Partille IBS).
