In addition to the two IBK LOCKERUD teams, 10 other teams played in Pojkar Röd A (f.2001-2002). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IBK LOCKERUD VIT could be found in Group A together with Sandvikens AIK, Linköping IBK Ungdom IBK P02 Svart and Partille IBS.

IBK LOCKERUD VIT continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Hovshaga AIF with 1-6. In the Final, Hovshaga AIF won over Partille IBS and became the winner of Slutspel A in Pojkar Röd A (f.2001-2002).
