In addition to Sävsjö IBK, 15 other teams played in Herrjunior (f.2000-2002) 5-7/4. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Sävsjö IBK could be found in Group C together with Åby IBK Ungdom, Tungelsta IF and IFK Arboga IBK.

Sävsjö IBK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Sandvikens AIK with 2-5. In the Final, Torshälla IBK won over Värnamo IK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Herrjunior (f.2000-2002) 5-7/4.
