Gropens IF was one of 157 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Linköping Floorball Games 2023. They participated with two teams in Pojkar Röd H (f.2010-2011) 31/3-2/4 and Pojkar Röd D (f.2008-2009) 31/3-2/4 respectively. The team in Pojkar Röd D (f.2008-2009) 31/3-2/4 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Täby FC P08 Tibble by 2-3.

In addition to this, Gropens IF have participated in Linköping Floorball Games before. During Linköping Floorball Games 2022, Gropens had three teams playing in Pojkar Blå B (f. 2010-2011) 9-10/4, Pojkar Blå A (f. 2010) 9-10/4 and Pojkar Röd E (f.2008) 1-3/4 respectively. The team in Pojkar Röd E (f.2008) 1-3/4 made it to the the Semi final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Linköping IBK Ungdom P08:86 by 4-6.

Gropens comes from Fjugesta which lies approximately 95 km from Linköping, where Linköping Floorball Games takes place. The area around Fjugesta does also provide six additional clubs participating during Linköping Floorball Games 2023 (Ekeby IF, Åsbro GoIF, Karlskoga IB, Karlskoga IBF, Lillån IBK and Askersunds innebandyklubb).
