In addition to the two Linköping IBK Ungdom teams, 18 other teams played in Pojkar Röd B (f.2008-2009) 19-21/4. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Linköping IBK Ungdom 08:88 could be found in Group A together with Frölunda IBK 08/09, IBK Köping and Duvbo IK röd.
Linköping IBK Ungdom 08:88 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Torshälla IBK with 1-3.
