In addition to Jönköping IK, 15 other teams played in Flickor Röd A (f.2008-2009) 19-21/4. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Jönköping IK could be found in Group B together with IBF Tranås, Storvreta IBK Ungdom F09 Svart and Falkenbergs IBK. Jönköping IK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Täby FC F09 with 2-5. In the Final, Täby FC F09 won over Sävsjö IBK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Flickor Röd A (f.2008-2009) 19-21/4.
