In addition to the two Gårdarike IBK teams, 10 other teams played in Flickor 2008-2009. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Gårdarike IBK 2 could be found in Group B together with Rungsted-Hørsholm floorball klub, IBK Lund Lime and Lomma FBC Lomma FBC F08/09.

Gårdarike IBK 2 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Gårdarike IBK 1 with 1-4. In the Final, IBK Lund Grön won over Gårdarike IBK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Flickor 2008-2009.
