Lomma FBC was one of 24 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Nova Open 2022. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Pojkar 2009 won over Gårdarike IBK by 4-3 but Pojkar 2008 A lost against Lomma FBC by 7-8.
In addition to this, Lomma FBC have participated in Nova Open before. During Nova Open 2021, Lomma FBC had 7 teams playing in Pojkar 2010, Pojkar 2009, Pojkar 2008, Flickor 2010-2011 and Flickor 2008-2009 respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Pojkar 2009 lost against IBK Lund S2 by 2-6 and Pojkar 2008 Lag 1 lost against Höllviken IBF HIBF by 5-6. Lomma FBC comes from Lomma which lies approximately 6 km from Lund, where Nova Open takes place. The area around Lomma does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Nova Open 2022 (Among others: Palmstaden IK, IBK Lund Södra Sandby, Skurup/Genarp IBK, Ibk Genarp/skurup, IBK Lund, Tygelsjö IK, IBK GENARP, Bjärreds IBK, IBK Lund P12/13D and Malmhaug IBF).
