Backatorp IF was one of 190 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2016. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 13 9-manna and Flickor 12 respectively. The team in Flickor 12 made it to the the Bronze match in A-slutspel, but lost it against Vallentuna Damfotboll by 0-2.
In addition to this, Backatorp IF have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2015, Backatorp had one team playing in Pojkar 12. The team in Pojkar 12 made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-slutspel, but lost it against Höganäs BK by 3-5. Backatorp comes from Hisings Backa which lies approximately 130 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Hisings Backa does also provide 50 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2016 (Among others: Stenkullen GoIK, Torslanda IK, Näsets SK, Nol IK, Floda BOIF, Kärra KIF, Bergums IF, Kållered SK, IFK Fjärås and Hovås Billdal IF).
