Mariestads BK was one of 190 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 13 9-manna.

In addition to Mariestads BK, 63 other teams played in Pojkar 13 9-manna. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Mariestads BK could be found in Group 4 together with Kareby IS 1, IFK Vaxholm 2 and Näsets SK 2.

Mariestads BK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Falköping FF 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Nesodden IF won over Hermansby IF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 13 9-manna.

Mariestads comes from MARIESTAD which lies approximately 32 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around MARIESTAD does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2016 (Among others: Våmbs IF, IFK Skövde FK, IFK Mariestad, Skövde AIK, Ulvåkers IF, Skövde KIK, Ulvåker/Tymer, Johannesbergs LIF (Unified), Skövde HIF 2 Unified and Skultorps IF/Våmbs IF).
