Ängby IF was one of 190 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2016. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 15 and Pojkar 16-17 respectively. The team in Pojkar 15 made it to the the Bronze match in A-slutspeland won it over IFK Mariestad by 4-1.
In addition to this, Ängby IF have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2015, Ängby had one team playing in Pojkar 15. The team in Pojkar 15 made it to the the Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Svalövs BK by 4-5. Ängby comes from Bromma which lies approximately 260 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Bromma does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2016 (Among others: Vallentuna Damfotboll, Brommapojkarna, IFK Vaxholm, Enskede IK, Boo FF, Apollon Solna FK, Hanvikens SK, Hammarby If, Vallentuna BK and Järla IF FK).
