In addition to Munkedals IF, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Munkedals IF could be found in Group 1 together with Kungsladugårds BK, Tidaholms GIF 2, Våmbs IF and Boo FF.

Munkedals IF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Mölltorp/Breviks AIF/Tibro AIK with 7-8. In the Final, Våmbs IF won over Ängby IF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.
