Växjö Norra If was one of 190 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 16-17.
In addition to Växjö Norra IF, 18 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Växjö Norra IF could be found in Group 4 together with Skövde AIK, Mölltorp/Breviks AIF/Tibro AIK, Ängby IF and Sjömarkens IF. Växjö Norra IF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Tidaholms GIF 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Våmbs IF won over Ängby IF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 16-17. Växjö Norra IF also participated in Pojkar 16 during Skadevi Cup 2015. They reached the Semi final in P16 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Ulvåkers IF with 1-3. Växjö Norra comes from Växjö which lies approximately 180 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
