IK Kongahälla was one of 190 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 12.
In addition to IK Kongahälla, 49 other teams played in Pojkar 12. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof IK Kongahälla could be found in Group 3 together with Halvorstorps IS 2, Hammarby IF and Våmbs IF 1. IK Kongahälla continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Onsala BK 1 with 0-4. In the Final, Brommapojkarna won over IFK Skövde FK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 12. Kongahälla comes from Kungälv which lies approximately 130 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
