Skövde KIK was one of 159 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2017. They participated with three teams in Flickor 13 and Flickor 14-15 respectively. The team in Flickor 13 made it to the the Final in A-slutspel, but lost it against Skepplanda BTK by 4-5.
In addition to this, Skövde KIK have participated in Skadevi Cup before. During Skadevi Cup 2016, Skövde KIK had 4 teams playing in Flickor 13, Flickor 14-15 and Flickor 16-17 respectively. The team in Flickor 16-17 made it to the the Bronze match in A-slutspeland won it over Falköpings KIK 2 by 1-0. Skövde KIK comes from Timmersdala which lies approximately 14 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Timmersdala does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2017 (Among others: Fagersanna IF/Tibro AIK, Tibro AIK FK, IF Fregatten, Råda BK, Ulvåkers IF, IFK Mariestad, Stenstorps IF, Lidköpings FK, Skövde HIF and IFK Värsås/Vretens BK).
