Ängby IF was one of 159 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Pojkar 13 9-manna.

In addition to Ängby IF, 63 other teams played in Pojkar 13 9-manna. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Ängby IF could be found in Group 10 together with Sjövalla FK 2, Stenkullen GoIK and IFK Västervik.

Ängby IF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Värnamo Södra FF with 0-5. In the Final, Kullavägens BK 1 won over Snöstorp Nyhem FF 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 13 9-manna.

Ängby comes from Bromma which lies approximately 260 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Bromma does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2017 (Among others: Sickla IF, Saltsjöbadens IF, Boo FF, IK Frej Täby, Hammarby IF, Ekerö IK, Bele Barkarby FF, Enskede IK, Sundbybergs IK and Pappas Pojkar Tullinge).
