Melleruds IF was one of 166 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Pojkar 16-17.
In addition to Melleruds IF, 21 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Melleruds IF could be found in Group 1 together with Ulvåkers IF, Töreboda IK and Nesodden IF. Melleruds IF continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Skövde AIK with 0-2. In the Final, Skövde AIK won over Nesodden IF and became the winner of A-slutspel in Pojkar 16-17. Melleruds comes from Mellerud which lies approximately 87 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
