In addition to the two IFK Skövde teams, 36 other teams from 3 different countries played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IFK Skövde Fotboll 2 could be found in Group 9 together with Ekholt Ballklubb, Hertzöga BK, Hjulsbro IK HjIK and Falköpings FK.
IFK Skövde Fotboll 2 made it to A-slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Skövde AIK U17, which they won with 5-4.
