Hovslätts IK was one of 144 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Pojkar 14.

In addition to Hovslätts IK, 52 other teams played in Pojkar 14. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Hovslätts IK Röd could be found in Group 1 together with Saleby/Trässberg/Norra Härene, Tölö IF 2 and Åsaka SK.

Hovslätts IK Röd continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Frej P08 P08 with 1-2. In the Final, Tabergs SK Gul won over IFK Skövde Fotboll and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 14.

Hovslätts comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 77 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place. The area around Jönköping does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Skadevi Cup 2022 (Among others: Egnahems BK, Jönköpings Södra IF, Ekhagens IF, Waggeryds IK, FC Real Internacional, Lekeryd-Svarttorp SK, Råslätt SK, IF Hallby, Bankeryds Sportklubb and Tabergs SK).
