Vänersborgs FK was one of 135 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Skadevi Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Flickor 14.

In addition to Vänersborgs FK, 26 other teams played in Flickor 14. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Vänersborgs FK could be found in Group 2 together with Mariestads BoIS FF, IF Eksjö Fotboll and Nödinge SK.

Vänersborgs FK continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Värnamo with 0-3. In the Final, Tölö IF won over Hovshaga AIF and became the winner of A-slutspel in Flickor 14.

Vänersborgs FK comes from Vänersborg which lies approximately 89 km from Skövde, where Skadevi Cup takes place.
