In addition to Degerfors IF, 14 other teams played in Flickor 15-16. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Degerfors IF could be found in Group 1 together with Lerums IS, Skultorps IF, STN Alliansen and Skövde KIK.

Degerfors IF continued to A-slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Kumla with 0-3. In the Final, Lerums IS won over Trollhättans FK/Halvorstorps IS and became the winner of A-slutspel in Flickor 15-16.
