In addition to the two Ytterby IS teams, 16 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Ytterby IS 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Eksjö Fotboll P-16, Lidköpings FK 2, IFK Mariestad and Vallens IF.

Ytterby IS 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lidköpings FK 1 with 0-5. In the Final, Lidköpings FK 1 won over Sils IF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.
