In addition to the two Ytterby IS teams, 16 other teams played in Pojkar 16-17. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Ytterby IS 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Lidköpings FK 1, Jönköpings Södra IF P16 and Skövde AIK P16.

Ytterby IS 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Skövde Fotboll 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Lidköpings FK 1 won over Sils IF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 16-17.
